Thank you so much! Please let me know if there's anything I can do to support implementation!

Jessica: Your website/resources are fantastic! I have been trying to figure out a way to approach this kind of work with my front-facing volunteers, and this is a great way to have folks thinking for themselves how to make improvements vs. a boss just criticizing (however constructively). What a great resource.

That is my goal! The Good, Better, Best rubric is designed for use for every type and size of museum and every department. Right now, I'm working to bring more validity to the rubric with my thesis research. The current version is based on my academic, personal and professional experience thus far, and available and free on my website, along with some helpful resources. I hope it helps, and please use the feedback forms, I'd love to know how I can improve the rubric to better meet the myriad audience engagement needs in cultural institutions.

That type of rubric sounds like it would be super helpful to a lot of interpretation teams! Are you planning on publishing it anywhere?

Hi Rachel!
I'm not sure if this would be relevant/helpful to your ask, but I'm working on a rubric that cultural institutions can use to address and improve visitor-facing text. In a scenario like the one you shared, you could use the rubric to show how the text in question is problematic, and have guidance on how to improve it. If that would be helpful, I'd be glad to share it!

Dear All
I am curious about any problematic ideas in museums that you have encountered. I could see this kind of thing coming up in how an object is presented or many other things. I know that to a large extent things have changed. Look forward to the insight.
