Hi all!
I am considering creating a proposal for the AAM meeting next year on the topic of early learning and sensory education in museum spaces. My museum is in the process of updating our family and early learning space and will have our space open before AAM. We have been researching how our families currently use the space, and we will conduct follow-up research after the updates are completed to compare the results. There is a lot of potential to share and discuss how different museums approach early learning, and I think a session that incorporates multiple approaches would be exciting!
Currently, I plan to submit it either under the 'Museums as Time Travelers' track and the Immersive and Multisensory Experience Design subcategory or the 'Museum Essentials and Evolving Practices' track and the Education, Engagement & Visitor Experience subcategory, depending on the ultimate direction of the proposal.
