  • 1.  school visits / group sales -- recommendations needed!

    Posted 06-04-2023 05:51 AM

We currently have a legacy home-grown website & booking system for our school visits program.  Before we begin implementing a replacement, I'm looking to bring in someone  from the outside to  provide a clear-eyed assessment of our current processess and make some recommendations.  For us, organizationally, the question isn't just technology but also a bunch of internal workflows that have developed over the years, some of which will also need to be unwound.

Q: can anyone recommend a resource to provide an external assessment of school visits / group sales activities?

OR: does anyone feel like your org is doing a good job around this?  Because I'd definitely like to speak with folks who have solved this.

To be clear – I'm not really looking for a technology recommendation here (we think we already have one; we have a unified ticketing system and have been actively working on integrating our ticketed activities into it), but am looking to learn from others about process and workflow related to school visits / group sales.

PS: feel free to contact me directly, offlist

I am the registrar (among other responsibilities) for all K12 and youth and family programs at my institution. We have solid booking processes and I would be happy to any questions about internal workflow for school visits.
