Dear colleagues: [indulgence coveted for cross-posting]

The Ontario Museum Association's recording of its 13 July 2023 "Small Bytes: Podcasting for Ontario Museums" presentation provides 1.5 hours of recommendations including a professional podcasting firm representative & 3 museum staff members who have produced podcasts that usefully include important preparatory steps (Ontario Museum Association 2023).

For small museums that may not have the budget to acquire the software recommended in the presentation, there does exist an extremely useful alternative for recording presentations suitable for podcasting by small museums.

See the "Small Museum Podcasting: Use the KISS Principle" 28 November 2023 post on the Critical Museology Miscellanea blog  at  https://miscellaneousmuseology.wordpress.com/2023/11/28/small-museum-podcasting-use-the-kiss-principle/ .
