Hi all!
I am currently thinking about KPIs and Benchmarks for exhibitions.
So far, a more in depth discussion I found here:
https://www.future-museum.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Future-Museum_Report_Which-KPIs-are-needed-for-benchmarking-and-management-purposes.pdf
and an example for a more practical version here:
https://www.rgicreative.com/blog/post/4-ways-to-check-experience-engagement-kpis
There are a few mmore sites, where these topics are discussed and as to be expected, there is no such thing as THE one solution. Nevertheless, from the viewpoint of Visitor Studies, I find it very interesting and useful to investigate KPIs and Benchmarks (e. g. like http://www.understandingvisitors.org/about/ , or https://www.researchgate.net/publication/229912168_Paying_Attention_The_Duration_and_Allocation_of_Visitors%27_Time_in_Museum_Exhibitions ). In https://eidcoaching.com/ we are discussing a specific approach from Van Matre, who developed an interpretive matrix for this purpose.
Any other experiences & thoughts about KPIs and Benchmarks are welcome, looking very forward to reading from you!
Best regards from Germany,
Lars
