My institution is in the planning process of expanding programs. With program growth comes increased expenses.
What is the standard for museum program revenue in relation to expenses?
What is the balance between program revenue vs. program expenses at your institution? What percentage of program expenses are covered by program revenue, grants, sponsorships or other?
I would also appreciate any information on sources to research this topic.
