If you have any exhibition development companies you recommend, please let me know with their contact information. I'd like to have a list for circulating future RFPs.

Please include our company on your list of exhibit developers. We have worked with several botanical gardens, historic homes, and museums to design projects of all sizes. I would be happy to send you a qualifications package when and if it would be helpful. Only a fraction of our projects are on the website. Best of luck to you with your upcoming project.

    Hi Tania,

Thank you for posting this request.  I have been trying to get out to your museum for the Bob Ross Experience. I loved watching him when I was a child and I introduced him to my daughters, who are both artists.

Our company, Guardian Adventures, specializes in "Low Cap" or sub $20K, low tech, interactive experiences.  With all the focus on Immersive Experiences, many educational venues are missing out on the concept of Transformational Experiences.  In other words, inspiring personal change in the participant - either through a different perspective or learning a new idea that shapes their future outlook. We do this through the use of stories and roleplaying (where the patron plays a role in the experience).

By playing a role, the participant has more "buy-in" with the experience and is open to learning more than they would as a passive participant.

We also create interactive, story-based adventures about museum exhibits for teachers to run in their classroom (IE We created an adventure for CERN that teaches ages 8-10 the basics of Particle Physics).

If any of this sounds of interest to you, please reach out.

Look at Flint Hills Design in North Newton Kansas.

    https://www.uplandexhibits.com/about/

They do artifact research, develop story lines, design, build and fabricate exhibits including large format graphics and simple interactives that do not require technology maintenance abd renewal contracts. They have completed pop-up traveling exhibits that fold out of and back in to small shipping crates for the Smithsonian. They worked with me on the Pikes Peak Hill Climb museum in Colorado Springs and were great collaborators.

    Hi Tania,

If you are considering including augmented, virtual, or mixed reality in your exhibits, please feel free to reach out.  AR/VR/MR can be an affordable way to create highly interactive experiences for visitors at a reasonable cost and maximum flexibility.  We recently completed an interactive butterfly experience for the National Musuem of Play that may be of interest.  It served as both a fundraising mechanism and a new exhibit.  Feel free to take a look at our website and reach out for a meeting if you would like to learn more.  https://www.novaby.com/
