We are a small non-profit art Foundation in Los Angeles. We are looking for new accounting software.
Are needs include:
- Core accounting
- Invoicing
- Calculation of CA quarterly sales tax
- Tracking of non-taxable art sales
- Receiving commission and royalties
- Event planning budgeting
- Donations from general sources, events, and members
- Grants
- Sponsors
It appears we need some kind of hybrid accounting software program. We don't need payroll processing nor any kind of inventory control. We do sell fairly modest quantities of merchandise and apparel but not enough to worry too much about inventory. We hold numerous events (4-6 a month) with budgets of anywhere between $100 to over $30,000. The accounting software should incorporate event budgeting and profit/loss per event.
We have used Quickbooks in the past and we do not want to use it any longer.
