Monday's eclipse was a reminder of how live events can foster a sense of shared humanity and bring out the best in us. But some of us also know that great events are so much more than just a live experience. The attendee experience is only the tip of the iceberg! We want to get better at using events strategically from the initial planning process right through relationships and collaborations that follow. We see our events as a potent and playful call to action for attendees and collaborators alike. We believe that event organizing can be community organizing. And we're really curious about what happens when all of this mashes up with science. The Science Events Summit already has inspiring participants registered, a fabulous museum venue, and lots of thought-provoking fun all within walking distance.
It's just missing you! Science Events Summit June 2 – 4, 2024 Los Angeles, CA Plan to arrive Sunday, June 2 For anyone interested in live events that connect people and science www.science.events/summit
It's not too late to beat the early bird deadline, to volunteer to facilitate a discussion, or to spread the word. See you in LA!
