  • 1.  Conservation of magnesite sculpture

    Posted 04-12-2018 02:44 PM
    Hello,

We have a sculpture that is magnesium cement/magnesite. We have some issues with it, and we're planning to display it.

Does anyone have experience with this material? Or do you know of any conservators that might work on cement objects?

     Thanks!

The American Institute for Conservation has a Find a Conservator resource perfect for finding the most appropriate conservator to provide advice and assistance.  Please go to the website and click on Find a Conservator.  Use the advance search to include material, in addition to geographic area.  Call AIC at 202.452.9545 if you need additional assistance.  All best, Eryl
