Social Impact Museums

MuseumNext talked to three museum leaders who prioritized social impact for their missions. Two people from US-based museums: Jennifer Farrington, President and CEO of the Chicago Children’s Museum, and Mike Murawski, Director of Learning and Community Partnerships of the Portland Art Museum. Also featured is Hilary Jennings, Director of the Happy Museum Project in the U.K., which aims to provide a “leadership framework for museums to develop a holistic approach to wellbeing and sustainability.”
