We have recently had a surge in guests and/or their children touching the art and ignoring Security and Visitor Services requests to refrain from this behavior. I was wondering if other museums could share their written Policies or Procedures for events like this, and when and how to ask these guests to leave the museum if absolutely necessary. While it has not come to that point, and nothing has been damaged, we want to prepare our staff in case a situation like this escalates and before it does result in damage to art work.
