Hi Everyone,
I'm in the middle of assessing and potentially updating our collections insurance needs. We host a handful of exhibitions each year that feature student artwork. Two of the exhibitions are artwork from locals schools (elementary through high school) and the other two are solo exhibitions for college/university students. As they are all loaned work to the museum, they should be insured; however, because they are all students, I find it difficult to assign a monetary value.
How should these exhibitions be insured? Do any of you host similar exhibitions and deal with insurance? I would love advice on this!
