I just published the second scenario in a set envisioning the future of AI, to help us all wrap our heads around the decisions we face around whether and how to apply AI in museum work.

In their letter home, Audie writes:

"I miss hanging out with the gallery guards and front desk staff, who were mostly fellow artists. Almost all of them have been replaced by AI systems, which I suppose saves the museum money, but I really miss the human connection. I've resolutely refused to download the museum's AI interpretive chatbot on my phone-my own little act of Luddite rebellion."

If you're inspired to write your own missives from the future of AI, send me a copy!

Yours from one of multiple AI-inflected future,

    Elizabeth
