If I initiate this matter, I would like to narrate my story of the thrilling moments and excitement for over 3 months while preparing for the exhibition entitled : Body Odyssey: Journey of the Body from the Birth till Death during my tenure as the Curator of the University Museum of Sardar Patel University for the following:
(1) It was a unique opportunity for me to work the storyline of the exhibition by preparing the text of the audio commentary of the specimens of Human anatomy such as of the conjoined twins, spreading of the cancer in breasts, a gall bladder , 5 months old fetus, etc. Since the exhibition was held under the joint auspices of our University Museum, the Anatomy Dept of Pramukh Swami College and A R College of Pharmacy, the text of the audio commentary for each exhibit was super-duper. (2) The theme of the exhibition opened the door for us to conduct Touch, Feel and Learn program for the visually blind persons visiting our exhibition and (3) Anand Chapter of the Indian Medical Association gave us cooperation by waiving case fee for two months for those visitors of our Museum who showed to the local doctors our certificates that they had visited our exhibition on the Body Odyssey.
