Dear Mary
Thanks for sharing and it is fun and eye opening to learn other people's stories. Work is not always fun.

Subject: What is the best and worst thing about museum work?
Hello!
I find that the best part is getting to work with people from all over the world, of all different backgrounds. So many interesting paths led people to where they are today and it's inspiring to get to know people and hear their stories. As someone who has lived in the same metropolitan area my whole life, it really opens up how you view the world. We get visitors from all over the world as well, and that makes for some interesting encounters!
The worst part? Having to work while I'm at work instead of just hanging out and talking to visitors and colleagues! :)

Dear All
I am pondering. What is the best and what is the worst thing about museum work? I know that for me visitor interactions are often a good part. I look forward to all pondering and in sights.
Thanks,
Rachel
