What if curiosity is your most powerful (and underutilized) professional tool?

As museum professions, you already know the power of curiosity in learning-but what about in your daily professional interactions?

In complex, fast-changing environments, the instinct is often to move quickly: solve the problem, provide answers, create certainty. But that approach can unintentionally limit perspective, reduce engagement, and place the burden of thinking on you alone. Curious leaders do something different. They slow down. They ask. They listen. And in doing so, they unlock better thinking, stronger relationships, and more resilient teams.

There's a little over a week to register to a 3-part workshop, The Power of Curiosity in Communication, where we'll explore curiosity as a core leadership practice.

    Together, we will:
    • Ask powerful, open-ended questions that expand thinking and ownership
    • Listen to understand-building trust, clarity, and connection
    • Recognize and interrupt habits like urgency, assumptions, and defensiveness
    • Practice applying curiosity to real leadership conversations

    Course dates are April 15 and 29, 12-2pmEST and May 6, 12-1pm
To make participation a little more enticing, use code GROUP for $50 off registration by April 10. For more information and to register: https://www.deprizioleadership.com/event-details/the-power-of-curiosity-in-communication

This course is designed for leaders at all levels-because leadership is about influence, not title. If you're ready to shift from reacting to responding, and from telling to developing others, I'd love to have you join us.

I look forward to seeing you in the Leadership Lab!

    Take care, Jenn
