I am working with an anthropologist in the Kyrgyz Republic to lead a virtual workshop series geared towards museum professionals in Kyrgyzstan that will feature presenters from US institutions discussing the themes of community engagement, technological integration in museum exhibits and collections, and environmental sustainability initiatives in museums. We are currently applying to a US Department of State grant (the Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund), and are seeking institutions that are interested in partnering with us to host and advertise the workshops online, and, if possible, provide us with a letter of support on institutional letterhead by 3/14 to strengthen our application.
