As museum professional, you know that curiosity is incredibly powerful, but what does it have to do with leadership? Everything! In today's volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world, a curious approach to helps to counter the natural inclination to create stability and certainty. But jumping into problem-solving mode as a solo venture can also limit engagement with your team and shut down deeper thinking.

In my upcoming 3-part course: Curiosity in Leadership Communication, we'll explore and practice:

    • Questing assumptions
    • Asking powerful, open-ended questions
    • Listening without jumping to respond
    • Navigating real conversations with a curiosity-based approach

Leadership is about influence not title or location on an organizational chart. So, curiosity can be practiced at all levels, with direct reports, with a supervisor, with peers. It is effective and necessary in all directions. So, this course is for leaders at all levels who want to move from reacting to engaging, and from telling to developing others.
    Course dates are April 15 and 29, 12-2pmEST and May 6, 12-1pm
Use code GROUP for $25 off registration by April 1. For more information and to register: https://www.deprizioleadership.com/event-details/the-power-of-curiosity-in-communication

    Take care, Jenn
