    EdComversation Series: Museum Education for Today's Audiences
    Thursdays, October 27 and November 3, 4pm ET/1pm PT

    Join EdCom and editors Jason Porter and Mark Kay Cunningham for a series of conversations to encourage thinking about how museums meet evolving visitor expectations with new models of engagement. Each week, authors from "Museum Education for Today's Audiences" will share insights from their work.

    Part II, held October 27, 4pmET/1pmPT, will examine training and museum educator preparation, including how to cultivate a new mindset for professional development, training to facilitate family learning, and best practices for creating empowered educators.

    Part III, November 3 at 4pmET/1pmPT, will consider new models that anticipate the future of museum education including the methodology of play, how to inform learning design through brain science, human-centered design, and the impact of connecting with visitors.

    The first one was, but AAM decides after the fact if they will make them available on the AAM website. If you register, we'll make sure you get the slides, etc.

    Sorry! The goal for AAM is to be as accessible as possible, but it costs money to do transcriptions and captions, so they can't do it for every webinar.
