  • 1.  Size Inclusive Museum Uniforms

Hey there! Curious what anyone else may have found in regards to TRUELY size inclusive uniform brands? Last place I worked, we used Land's End and it was decent, but not amazing....suggestions welcome! I found a few other possible companies, but they for sure cater to industries like medical/nursing or cleaning uniforms.

    Thanks!

Our vendor orders from Port Authority and we order from XS up to 3X. The fleece jackets run a little small, and can be quite warm for some team members (we're in Los Angeles for background). When we switched to the microfleece we got good feedback from our team about the sizing, and the lighter weight. Those seem to fit pretty true to size. Hope that helps!

Thanks! (I just moved here from Monterey and I love the Tar Pits!)
Ya, we tried some of the soft shell port authority jackets, but they just didn't seem to fit anyone....I think it may be time to create a size inclusive uniform brand :)

The biggest issue I've run in to is that it's hard to find things in Tall sizes.  Speaking personally, I can't wear normal length shirts and have had team members in the past who were in the same boat.  Going up a size doesn't fix this issue either (that's usually the answer I get when I ask for a tall), all is does is make it more ill fitting and still too short.

This is a big part of why we went with large engraved badges that say Security on them for all the guards along with a basic dress code that doesn't really require them to purchase any specific clothes.  We had talked about a stricter dress code but found it would put a lot of economic stress on folks.  So we embrace it as a form of self-expression with their badges readily displayed.

I have the opposite issue.  Petite and small size I find the smallest size just hangs on me.
