    Join Katy Menne on July 12th at 2:30 pm EST/1:30 pm CST for a discussion about how and why Diversity (D), Equity (E), Accessibility (A), and Inclusion (I) must influence every aspect of museum work. Continuously coming back to the "why" question of DEAI, the group discussion will include statistics, definitions, teaching strategies, and funding opportunities.
    The conversation will center around planning that anchors accessibility and inclusion. Ms. Menne will share national and state statistics and guidance on how people learn and retain information, preparing attendees to pitch these changes to management, Boards, donors, and community groups. This program will focus on the theoretical approach to framing change as opposed to specific implementation efforts.
    Attendees will gain:
    * General information on how people learn.
    * Phrasing suggestions and discussing items that may be sticking points.
    * An understanding of why it is important to advocate for inclusion and accessibility across all departments and museum management levels.
    * Financial aspects of DEAI work.
