Seeking a Development Consultant, preferably in NY/NJ Metro area

    Hello Colleagues -

Someone who I worked with on a museum project several years ago is looking for a development consultant to help form a development committee, come up with an overall fundraising strategy, and design materials to support fundraising. In their email to me, they noted, "We would particularly like to consider consultants of color."

The Museum is small and mostly volunteer-run, and they are located in Trenton NJ. They are hoping for someone "local," but I suggested to them that they could cast a wider net, since so much can be done virtually these days.

If you have any suggestions I can share with them of people who fit these criteria - it could be you! - I'd appreciate hearing from you.

    Thanks very much!

    Claudia

    Hi Claudia,

We at The Peale, Baltimore's Community Museum, have recently partnered with Quatrefoil Associates, who are based in Columbia MD. They offered a nice discount on fundraising packages to attendees of the recent Small Museums Association conference. If that might be of interest, I'd be happy to put you in touch and also may be able to help with development consulting.
