Hi Dorothy,
We've worked with a number of Museums and historic and cultural organizations before to create remote augmented and virtual reality experiences for their audiences. We have also worked with the students and communities being served to co-create the experiences so that they are not only learning the content but also learning important tech skills and design thinking. Here are a a few links to examples:
Monumenal Conversations - we worked with the VFMA, Richmond Black History and Cultural Center, and Richmond Public Schools. Designed for doing as part of a walking tour, but also intentially designed to be able to be done anywhere such as at Richmond Schools.
Live at the Black Hawk - worked with local youth, artists and non-profits in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco to create this lifesize experience as a well as a smaller version that can be done anywhere.
MOHAI Black History Month - worked with the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle to add a 3D element to a largely 2D exhibit for Black History month that could be done both at the museum and remotely anywhere.
You can find these and other similar experiences on the AR/VR/XR page of our website. With the advent of AI, we are now also incorporating AI art and education into our projects as well.
Hope that helps. We are super passionate about the work. Happy to discuss with you further if sounds like what you are looking for.

Subject: Resources for "virtual exhibition" for schools
I'm wondering if any of you have contacts for, or are involved with, remote interactive museum programming for schools? Here is the idea, our local Middle School would like to host a "virtual exhibition" in the school library on certain key topics that correspond to curriculum and cultural enrichment. While the school already holds school-wide assemblies throughout the year for Black History Month, AAPI Month and other subjects, they are looking to supplement these with exhibitions that the students could visit during the school day.
Although they could just stream content, the goal would be to bring them elsewhere, where through wall plaques, QR codes or interactive videos, they could have more of a museum experience.
Anyone know of such a program? It makes sense to me and seems like it should exist. Please let me know if you have any leads.
