The Council of American Jewish Museums is happy to announce that registration is open for its national conference on Re/Imagining: The Future of Culturally Specific Museums - taking place in New York City this November 1-3, 2022 in partnership with the Association of African American Museums (AAAM).
The conference program explores how museums representing cultures and identities are called upon to address numerous pressing issues in American society – from missing narratives, to prejudice and injustice, to fighting acts of hate, defining identity, modeling inclusion, and creating new strategic directions for the future. We'll explore what we have in common, how we work differently, and how new partnerships and allies can help us achieve shared goals.
