Hello, as a first-time poster on the forum please forgive me if this post is inappropriate in any way.  THE MINI TIME MACHINE MUSEUM OF MINIATURES in Tucson, AZ, is dipping its toe in the waters of traveling exhibits with our current exhibit, SALAVAT FIDAI:  The Pencil Is Mightier.  The Exhibit is a solo show of the Russian-born artist Salavat Fidai, who specializes in micro sculptures made from the graphite rod of pencils.   Salavat transforms the characters and symbols of larger-than-life global icons – including Game of ThronesMarvel, and Star Wars – into minuscule sculptures on the tips of pencils.   I've attached a link to selected photos of the work.

Salavat's situation also adds relevance to some of the pieces. Two years ago, he fled Russia with his family as his perceived criticism of the invasion of Ukraine saw his ability to work as an artist and provide for his family disappear overnight.  Salavat has gained wide recognition in the Eastern World and has a significantly large Social Media Presence (followers in the millions, which is a marketing department dream) and it is a mission of mine to help make him as widely known and respected and able to build back his livelihood here in the United States.

We are in the process of putting together all of the requisite information that Museums would need to determine if they are interested in considering exhibiting this work, but in the meantime, I'm trying to gauge what the interest level may be.  I am so incredibly proud of the work done on this exhibit so far and hope we can share Salavat's artistry and technical prowess with more communities across the US.    If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for us or would like the full packet when it is ready, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Wow, William - these are amazing!

I'm not in a position re: museum interest (I'm an independent -- interp writer, writing coach, et al) - but I'm forwarding the info.

Thanks - hope this exhibit travels far and wide!

    Hello, William -

This exhibit looks amazing!  I've only seen photos online of some of these astounding sculptures, but it would be fantastic to get a closer look!   I've just sent you a PM.

            Cheers,
