Hello all and Happy Friday!

Do you pay your staff scheduled to work on the days the museum is closed for inclement weather? What about closures due to pipes bursting, or gas leaks?

Hi Jessica,

We do cover salaries on days we are closed due to weather or some other event. If a member of staff is unable to come in (such as today after heavy snowfall), they can work from home if able. Our staff is only 4 full-time and we recognize the extra work smaller museum staffs have to taken on over the course of the year so we are very flexible when it comes to accommodations.
