  • 1.  Not using PVC for exhibition graphics

    Posted 03-22-2023 08:51 PM
    Hi hive mind

We are taking PVC products off our list of materials that can be used for exhibition graphic production and exhibition production in vernal. Any advice on products and approaches that worked well for anyone. Any advice on specifications that we can insert in our procurement documents for exhibition production?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Vicki,

Here at Arkansas State Parks, we switched from PVC products for our exhibit, wayside, and trailhead graphics to aluminum signage from Gopher Signs. Their products are green including their printing process. All their specs are available on their website, under their ImageLOC product.

We've been using them for 10 years now and they've held up amazingly to the various conditions in our parks and museums.

Thanks so much for these resources! vinyl has been in the news a lot lately, and I've been feeling very complicit.
