[posted on behalf of a member museum] "We were wondering if any museum has arrived at a suggested maximum external decibel level for streets surrounding a museum. It's so specific it seems unlikely, but our downtown has seen a huge increase in presence of peddle taverns, party buses, etc. (affectionately known as "transpotainment" around here). It's a pretty major disturbance. All of it is external and outside of our building but the city is taking notice and is hoping to regulate these party experiences more heavily.
We might be one of the only museums with this experience so there might not be any suggestions from the AAM community on it but worth asking! Thank you!"
