Museum Worker Necessary Alternative to 'Quiet Quitting'

Dear colleagues: [indulgence coveted for cross-posting]

The current 'thing' / craze for 'quiet quitting' by definition is rather unlikely to 'catch on' to any great extent in the museum field.  "Occupational devotee" museum practitioners need another approach characterised by the "70% rule" meaning reserving A+++ efforts only for the most important items on task lists.

See the "'Quiet Quitting' & the 70% Solution Redux" post on the Solving Task Saturation for Museum Workers blog at https://solvetasksaturation.wordpress.com/2022/09/06/2829/ .

This post is dedicated to the memory of Mr. Fred Madrigga, 1939-2022, long-time Board Chair of the Sam Waller Little Northern Museum that he helped to maintain & transform into the current The Sam Waller Museum in The Pas, Manitoba, Canada. Fred was a leader devoted to the museum who never shirked putting his 'shoulder to the wheel' in myriad practical ways to advance the development of this institution that Paul C. Thistle was blessed to work for 1983-1995. I succeeded only through Fred's unfailing support, wise counsel, & kind friendship (Matthew 5:13a).

    Respectfully yours
