Introducing SEED:Management, a new training opportunity for museum managers at all levels!
Are you a newly promoted manager? An administrator supervising new managers? A seasoned manager looking for new strategies? Good management is its own challenge: along with knowledge of your organization and your department, you need a framework and strategies for how to manage a team.
The SEED trio - Rachel , Rebecca, and David - have both museum-based management experience and research-based understanding of key management skills. On January 13, at The Morgan Library & Museum in New York City, we will be offering a full-day management training focusing on key skills including: running a good meeting, creating a sense of belonging, sharing effective feedback, and supporting your direct reports. You will get to set individual goals, and we'll host two 90-minute virtual sessions to further build your skills and give you some peer check-ins for accountability.
Dates and times:
- Monday, January 13, 2025, 10am - 5pm, NYC (in person; Midtown Manhattan)
- February 24 and April 7, 2025, 3-4:30pm Eastern (virtual)
