I will soon be launching a series of monthly leadership labs for museum and non-profit professionals. My definition of leadership is broad-anyone who guides and inspires others towards a shared vision. That may mean supervising a team, but direct supervision is not a prerequisite to being a leader today. The essential factor is influence which I define as guidance plus inspiration.
