  • 1.  Looking for Additional Presenters for AAM Conference Session: Operationalizing Data Analytics

    Posted 10-02-2023 01:19 PM

    Greetings All,

I am working on a session proposal discussing how cultural institutions can leverage data analytics in basic to advanced ways to help improve the health of their organization's operations. I would love to have one or two other's join me or am happy to join a group already working through this if that is the case. Time is limited for getting this session submitted for consideration, but I really am passionate about this topic and feel as though it is one that would speak to so many other institutions regardless of their size and scope.

    Hi Chris,

I'd definitely be interested in this topic, depending on AAM location in 2024. In my full-time job I've recently come into a Marketing Analytics role and incorporating this data in an easy way for museum pros has been on my mind!

    Shoot me an email julie@museumtastic.com.

I would be happy to team up on a submission. I use employee sentiment to predict important outcomes - employee engagement/retention, wellbeing, culture, etc. in my work with non-profit institutions. I have a good bit of employee opinion data/comments and can speak to the analytics used, and practical implications of using employee sentiment as a leading indicator for organizations and their leaders.

    Hi Chris,

I'm definitely interested in participating in a panel discussion on this topic. Here at Filoli we use geofencing data to see what areas of the property are the most visited, and we're looking at Google analytics for our website, particularly when we're running campaigns in languages other than English, to see what languages our website visitors are browsing in. There are other examples too, and we're very interested in expanding our use of data to optimize marketing and the visitor experience. Looking forward to hearing more about your session proposal.

    Hi Chris,

I'd be happy to join in on a panel on this topic.  You may recall that we, at Guide-ID, get a ton of data as it relates to our client's audio tour's.  This enables museums and historic sites to better understand which audio stops are the most popular to least popular, how many stops their visitors are engaging in, what's the dwell time of their tour, are the stops listened to in their entirety and how many tours are done by language.  Obviously, this is specifically through the lens of audio tours but nonetheless, it's super helpful for our clients and I'd be happy to share our learnings across the field.

    Best,

    Jeff
