    Hello AAM folks!

If your institution is using Library of Congress and/or FAST Subject Headings to catalog 3D objects/artifacts, we would love to speak with you about any guidelines or best practices that you have developed.

    Thank you,

Hi Bianca!  In harmonizing data for a consortium of museums in western MA, we used Getty as our primary vocabularies and LCHS as a back-up. So excited you're thinking about common controlled vocab at the start!  [If there were emojis in this platform, I'd use a bunch of happy faces here!]

Happy to speak with you about this or put you in touch with the person currently managing that project.

    Erin

one more thing!  The same project has a NEH HCRR application in to apply LCSH subject access to all museum objects in their catalog.  https://museums.fivecolleges.edu/.  Fingers crossed for funding!
