Great question. I've attached a link to an old NPS Conserve-O-Gram, and a very helpful video by the Dunn Museum. Depending on the object material, we use b72 to affix object IDS. At my museum we use b72 to affix archival paper with the object ID covered by another coat of b72. Its easily reversible with the use of acetone.
