A National Convening for Held in Trust: Transforming Cultural Heritage Conservation for a More Resilient Future was held at the Library of Congress on April 28th. This half-day event was an exciting way to discuss the findings of the project, suggest future directions for the field, and outline the vision of a thriving, equitable, and just community of practice. View the agenda and recording.

Held in Trust is a collaboration between the National Endowment for Humanities and the Foundation for Advancement in Conservation to investigate the intersection of cultural heritage conservation and preservation with the challenges faced today, including environmental resilience, science and technology, inclusivity, equity, and collaboration in professional practice, education, philosophy, and ethics. (AAM is a member of the Held in Trust Advisory Council.)

The findings of Held in Trust have far-reaching implications for the future of preservation and conservation. Explore them and see how you, your organization, or your community can get involved.
