Last month, we ran a small study on if/how museum visitors use AI. About 1 in 3 had used AI to ask about something they saw on their visit. 61% trust the museum more than the AI. Only 27% double checked the answer. Personally, I would have guessed the AI use to be lower.
So I wanted to know how this reads to all of you. What did your intuition say before you knew the numbers? How do you feel about it? And I am especially curious about the smaller and mid-sized places: are your visitors doing this too or is this mainly coming from the big institutions that draw more casual visitors?
