Hi everyone! The New York Hall of Science is hosting a webinar on August 13th from 2-3:30pm EDT, with folks from Explora, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, and EDC, and I thought it might be of interest to this community.
The three museums collaborated with autistic youth over two years to co-design and test engineering design activities. We'll be sharing a framework and downloadable guidebook for creating neurodiversity-affirming museum activities, based on Universal Design for Learning principles and the recommendations from youth across the three sites.
