Practical Approaches to Immersive Digital Experiences in Museums
Immersive digital experiences can be a powerful tool when it comes to engaging learners, however these experiences also come with challenges and steep learning curves. During this online workshop we will be joined by members of the Alliance for Immersion in Museums (AIM) project, who will talk about best practices, standards, and how AIM has built a coalition of museums and media producers that are committed to creating dynamic interactive experiences that can be shared and implemented across different venues. We will also hear from museums using immersive tools to engage audiences and encourage meaningful discussions on topics of societal importance.

NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope may launch as early as August 30, 2026; join us as we learn more about Roman and prepare to engage learners through national events. We will be joined by experts from the Space Telescope Science Institute and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, who will share details about the telescope, the science behind the spacecraft's new technology, and provide information about how you can access a collection of public engagement resources and professional training materials developed by NASA's Universe of Learning.
