    Hello everyone,

This is a final call to participate in an IRB-approved survey on community engagement in U.S. university-affiliated museums.

Thank you to those who have already contributed-your insights are deeply appreciated. If you have not yet had a chance to participate, I warmly invite you to do so before the survey closes on May 1, 2026.

My name is Zida Wang, Ph.D., and I serve as Manager of Academic and Community Engagement at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This study examines how university-affiliated museums define and operationalize community engagement, as well as the challenges and opportunities shaping this work across institutions.

Your perspective will help contribute to a broader understanding of the evolving role of university museums in public life, and inform future research and practice in the field.

    Who should participate:
U.S.-based staff, faculty, and administrators at university-affiliated museums involved in community engagement, education, programming, or public outreach.

    Survey details:
     • Takes approximately 6–10 minutes
     • Voluntary, with the option to skip any question
     • Confidential: only aggregated, de-identified findings will be reported

Thank you again for your time and for the important work you do in advancing engagement across university museums.

    Best regards,
    Zida Wang, Ph.D.
