  • 1.  Exhibition Design for Human Health

Is anyone doing interesting work in their museums to create exhibitions that are specifically designed to enhance human health? I am thinking about attempts to design around filtering air and water, avoiding allergins, avoiding VOC, formaldehyde or other toxic chemicals in building materials, looking at Health Product Declarations. I would also be interested in talking to people who are attempting to bring in biobased materials and biophilic design or s, sights and sounds around nature, circadian lighting or anything else targeted at healthy kids and healthy adults.

    Hi Douglas,

At Leerform, we are actively implementing solutions that align with these priorities. Our work includes integrating bio-based materials, such as hemp and repurposed cannabis waste, into fabrication to reduce VOCs and eliminate formaldehyde in building materials. We are also exploring sustainable alternatives like Cannabran, a hemp-based board, as part of our commitment to healthier, low-impact design. We'd love to connect and exchange ideas with others focused on creating exhibition spaces that enhance human health. Let's set up a time to discuss.
