    Hi everyone!

We have been reinvigorating our fundraising campaigns thanks to new management and new board members at our museum. Currently, we have been using a big and rather unwieldy Google Sheets document to track our donors, but I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good donor management platforms and/or tips and tricks to make the spreadsheet more useable? Bonus points if it is a rather cheap (or free!) donor management platform since our budget is nearly nonexistant.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for asking this question Mika! I am following because I am interested in creating templated donor recognition exhibit software that uses an API from online or other databases, or even Google Sheets, to populate a visitor/donor facing touch-screen display interface. I am very curious. I hope the conversation is rich here!

    Hi Mika,

I know a small company that I am pretty sure can help you (not as sure about your interest, Rebecca), maybe on both fronts. I recommend that you reach out to DatumExcellentia by contacting tony@datumexcel.com

I can also ask him to message you offline, but you'll probably get a quicker response if you contact him. I hope it works out for you.

    Cheers!

Not a donor management platform specifically, but monday.com gives notprofits 10 licenses for free and then deeply discounts licenses above that.

    Hi Mika!

How are you all collecting your donations that get put onto the spreadsheet? I am guessing it is a mix of online and offline?

As far as low cost donor management goes, Little Green Light and Donor Box are two that I hear the most and know are fairly low cost.

Another option that is free would be HubSpot, but you'd want to integrate something to take donations. We always recommend Fundraise Up. The free version of HubSpot doesn't have a TON of features, but it is a good gateway to collecting donor data and logging necessary interactions. Hope this helps :)
