Requiring any single Covid vaccination is pointless, considering the virus has changed and the most recently formulated vaccination is the only one to guard against the most recent variant. Furthermore, the CDC recommends multiple doses of the 2024-2025 vaccine for people who were previously unvaccinated. Here's more about CDC vaccination recommendations: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/interim-considerations-us.html

Subject: Covid vaccine requirements
Hello All,
I'm working with a client who asked if museums are requiring that employees show proof of having received at least one vaccine for Covid. They are updating their policies and wonder if this should still be included. (They are leaning towards keeping it, but wonder if it would be a sticking point for a new hire so long after the initial pandemic.)
Thanks for any information you can share,
Gail
