Hello! I recently attended a Vitality Arts Convening in Minneapolis where a few colleagues from different art museums across the country referenced a "Core method" of exhibition development where each department had a key stakeholder at the table from the onset of meeting with the artist, talking through exhibition design, making sure the exhibition is accessible, planning interpretive content, etc. In using this method no department had veto power over another and all had to come to an agreement before implementing plans or escalating to executive leadership. Please forgive me if I am not using the correct wording here, but I am looking for any written best practices on forming something like this "core" team referenced during this session. I am beginning discussions with some colleagues at my museum to start floating the idea and would be ever grateful for any resources you all can provide!
