1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Networking Lunch
Connect with LGBTQ+ museum professionals at AAM's Networking Lunch, designed to foster meaningful relationships across disciplines, regions, career stages, and affinity groups.
4:30 pm - 5:45 pm: Field Trip to the Maryland Center for History and Culture
610 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD. straight up Howard St.
Join us for a tour of MCHC's LGBTQ+ collections and learn about the institution's collecting from the community. The museum will also be displaying a special mini-exhibit just for AAM. Museum is open that afternoon and if folks arrive early, they are welcome to explore the museum. Show your conference badges or mention the tour for free admission. We will assemble in the museum's lobby around 4:25-4:30 to start the tour. Parking is available onsite in the museum's lot on weekends on a first come, first served basis. Otherwise, if parking is full, park in the Franklin St. garage and the Visitor Services team can validate for a $2 discount.

10:20 am - 11:50 am: AAM Session - Shields Up! Safety, Security, and Inclusion for LGBTQ+ Programming
4th Floor Ballroom I, Baltimore Convention Center
Join Drag Story Hour leadership and the AAM Task Force for Transgender Inclusion in a workshop exploring safety and security practices around LGBTQIA+ programming. This workshop will empower museum professionals to serve in their roles as cultural stewards and defenders of pluralist ideals with confidence!
12:30 pm - 1:30pm: Informal Planning Lunch
