  • 1.  computer software program for a shipwreck exhibit

Hi, I am looking for computer software that I can adapt for a shipwreck exhibit.  What I envision is a large touch tv screen that shows a map of all the shipwrecks in our Underwater Preserve.  You can then click on that icon and up pops historical information/photo about the vessel.  Is there a company out there that can create this or should I approach our local college or other ideas?  Any direction would be helpful.  Also looking for other push button options for a video that will repeat or something similar.  Looking to put all the shipwreck information in one spot, with supporting surrounding exhibits with more information and artifacts..

    Hey Stef -

I don't know the details on *how* this exhibit works, but there's a museum in Stockholm that has an online exhibit (as part of their website) that I think is similar to what you'd like to do:

Wreck - Museum of Wrecks, VRAK, which is part of the Swedish National Maritime and Transport Museums

    Good luck!

If the interactivity is as simple as you described, this can be done with an off-the-shelf Brightsign player and a display with a touch screen also of the self.

Please reach out to me and I can fill in the details.
