I recall a similar project involving a TV station at the Boston Children's Museum a few years ago. I also remember they allowed the visitors to act out their choice from a few different themes. They utilized high-end cameras and video processors to create an impressive green screen effect.
It would seem that with the advancements in Augmented Reality (AR) technology, you could find a more cost-effective way to achieve a similar effect. Many museums use XBox Kinect and Azure Kinect.
One intriguing idea for your exhibition is to enable visitors to save or send their videos directly to their email or phone. Imagine an interactive Instagram-style exhibit where participants can effortlessly share their creations with others, promoting excitement and engagement.

Subject: Children's Museum TV Weather Station
The Discovery PlayHouse in Cape Girardeau, MO would like to develop a new exhibit that is a green screen live TV Weather Station. We know this is a common exhibit in many children's museums and would appreciate recommendations from those who have one of what works and what doesn't, as well as the materials and technology used. If you were creating one from scratch, how would you design it?
We would also appreciate suggestions of children's museums that have great TV Weather Station exhibits that we could visit or talk to the director about.
Thanks for your help!
