CAMOC invites presentation proposals for Changing Cities, Changing Museums, our 2023 global conference taking place in New York City, October 16-19.

One of 32 International Committees of ICOM, CAMOC focuses on the city and its people-their history, their present and their future. It is a forum for those who work in museums about cities all around the world, but also for anyone involved and interested in urban life: historians, urban planners, architects, citizens, all of whom can exchange knowledge and ideas across national frontiers. Learn more at https://camoc.mini.icom.museum/

The conference, hosted by the Museum of the City of New York, will bring together people from around the world to explore ways that cities and museums are engaging with change -- in practices, communities, climate, and more. You don't have to be an ICOM member to take part, just interested in the ways museums connect with cities and with people in those cities around the world.

Presentation proposals are being accepted through April 15, 2023. For more information on conference themes and how to submit, go to https://camoc.mini.icom.museum/conferences/new-york-city-2023/

Have questions about the CAMOC or the conference? Send them my way!
