    CAM Conference Scholarships

For the 2024 annual conference Launch Point, CAM is offering 45 scholarships and prioritizing individuals who are Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship program alumni and other emerging museum professionals from groups underrepresented in museums and visual arts organizations, which can include groups defined by – among other things – socioeconomic status, cultural background, physical or other disability, geographical origin and/or any life experiences that add diverse and underrepresented perspectives, and part-time museum workers.

The scholarship covers over 80% of conference registration ($450 value), a CAM Individual Lead Membership ($100 value), and funds for travel assistance ($100 value). The membership and travel assistance benefits will be remitted after the conference takes place upon confirmation of attendance. Scholarship recipients will be responsible for a nominal $75 contribution. This contribution allows CAM to provide scholarships to more museum professionals.

Scholarship applicants will be notified of their status in early 2024.

Note: Conference speakers are eligible to apply, but if awarded a scholarship, the scholarship benefits will supersede the speaker benefits. Please inquire with Rochelle programs@calmuseums.org with questions.

Apply by 11:59PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023

This scholarship program is made possible with support from the Getty Foundation.
