    We need to keep the pressure on Valparaiso University's administration and board NOT to sell three great American landscape paintings to fund dorm renovations.

    Please sign the petition at https://www.artisacoreresource.com.  

    The University believes that because the Brauer is not accredited, it does not have to abide by professional best practices or ethical guidelines. The President dismisses AAM, AAMC, AAMD, and AAMG as "special interest groups." Make your professional voice heard!

    How were the paintings acquired? What, if any, requirements were included in the original donation?
    If it comes to a sale, rather than have the buyer remove the paintings, have them loan them to the museum.
    I am certainly against selling these paintings to support current operations at the university.
    As a Regent at another university, I would be charging the University President to make up any revenue short comes by adding new popular high revenue programs.

    To sell assets from the museum starts a slippery slope to the museum's closure and, ultimately, to the closing of the university.
